Fighting Obamacare

In his first month as Attorney General, Todd P’Pool will see that Kentucky reports for duty in the fight against Obamacare. This reckless piece of legislation threatens the future of our healthcare system and jobs in the Commonwealth. It would devastate rural hospitals and kill small businesses. As Attorney General, Todd will join with other states in litigation to stop this government takeover of our healthcare system.

Standing Up For Kentucky Coal

Todd will protect Kentucky coal. He will push back against the EPA to ensure Kentucky coal remains strong. If the Obama administration has its way with the coal industry, it will crush Kentucky’s economy and put thousands out of work. As Attorney General, Todd will stand as a firewall against the politically-motivated regulations that threaten the stability of our coal and agricultural industries.

Getting Tough On Drugs

It is hard to find a Kentucky family that has not been touched by drugs. The Attorney General’s Office needs an experienced prosecutor who will lead the fight and no longer turn a blind eye to this epidemic. Todd will be an advocate for law enforcement and prosecutors on the front lines of the battle against drugs. He will ensure they have the tools and resources they need to win this fight. He is committed to cracking down on drug cartels and individuals writing illegal prescriptions to battle the supply of drugs. Todd will also lead to partner with local and faith based initiatives to battle the demand of addiction.

criminal

Prosecuting Criminals. Fighting Corruption.

Todd is on the record prosecuting and convicting elected officials who have misused their authority and violated the trust of the people they serve. Even our current Attorney General recognized Todd’s strong and independent voice for justice, appointing him as a special prosecutor over a dozen times throughout his career. Todd will put aside partisan politics, act as an advocate for all Kentuckians and seek out and fight corruption wherever it exists.
