VIDEO: Todd on Obama’s Health Care Law and the EPA

Thursday, February 17th, 2011

Todd P’Pool will see that Kentucky reports for duty in the fight against Obamacare. This reckless piece of legislation threatens the future of our healthcare system and jobs in the Commonwealth. It would devastate rural hospitals and kill small businesses. As Attorney General, Todd will join with other states in litigation to stop this government takeover of our healthcare system.

When it comes to the EPA, Todd will protect Kentucky coal. He will push back against the EPA to ensure Kentucky coal remains strong. If the Obama administration has its way with the coal industry, it will crush Kentucky’s economy and put thousands out of work. As Attorney General, Todd will stand as a firewall against the politically-motivated regulations that threaten the stability of our coal and agricultural industries.

Todd P’Pool Praises Today’s ruling from Federal Judge finding ObamaCare Unconstitutional.

In a statement Republican nominee for Attorney General and Hopkins County Prosecutor, Todd P’Pool, stated, “Like nearly every Kentuckian, I was relieved to hear of the ruling from Judge Vinson finding the healthcare reform law unconstitutional. Despite today’s ruling and the Virginia ruling, Kentucky is still absent from the fight. The weight of legal authority is mounting as evidence that this healthcare bill went far beyond the scope of Congressional authority. It seems our current Attorney General would rather appease Barrack Obama than serve the needs of our Commonwealth. I do not believe the hard working families of Kentucky are getting the representation they deserve and I renew my pledge that as Attorney General I will see that Kentucky reports for duty in the fight against Obamacare.”
